Easter Greetings and Thanks!

Happy Easter!  This Easter of 2013 will really be great!  A new year, a new brother, Abe, and lots more events that have happened during the year!  My craft for the Easter season is crocheted Easter eggs and a springtime billboard!  The pattern for the crocheted Easter eggs is just a simple oval,(ball)and if you want a lovely Easter basket of half a circle!  The spring billboard is just cardboard, felt, scissors, glue, and tacks.  Carefully glue some felt to cover the cardboard.  (It might be smart to have lots more cardboard)Cut designs from more felt like birds, flowers, bugs, etc.  When billboard dried pin some memories, recipes, events, phone numbers, and special dates on your billboard.  It will be a lovely thing to have handy in your kitchen or office!  The picture up above is me and my sister, Hetty and me in our bathrobes.  We are very Oh La La girls and we just finished having a nice warm bath!  The D. girls are so much fun! (The M. girls and boys in Ireland are so talented and fun! I hope you have a lovely Easter cousins!)  I am so blessed to have such a lovely, nice, cool, and amazing family!  Also thank-you, Grandma and Grandpa W. for the lovely St. Patty's Day dinner!  I had a fun time and enjoyed myself a lot!  The potatoes are going to be a blast, Grandma! I'm sure of it!

Happy Springtime!  Avimar
P.S. Thank you for being my members from 2010 to 2013!

  2. Well...I sometimes call her Essie, and Clem and Mom sometimes call her Hettie. It is my blog name in this post though! (Bester is one of her nicknames too. Esther Bester!)

  3. Great post. The picture of you sisters is so cute. The potatoes are growing and I will have to put more soil around the stems so more potatoes will grow underneath. It will be exciting to see if any are there.

I'm happy that you enjoyed St. Patrick's Day dinner. There's nothing like corned beef and cabbage.

    Love from Grandma W.
