4th Of July

Three Cheers for the U.S.A. !  I loved the parade that we went to in Stayton!  It was simply beautiful!  Esther got a little stuffed teddy bear from a lady clown.  She was scared of the clown but she loved the teddy!  We had more than thirty fireworks...Awesome!  Mary really enjoyed the show and my brothers were yelling at the top of their lungs!  We had a lovely dinner and me and my cousins put on a show!  I can't wait to hear your crafty comments!

Blog Ideas

My blog is about crafts and fun but you can make your blog any subject that you want!  those that are starters can get ideas from this post:
1.  Every blog has to have a title and subject that you want so if a blog were 'ladybug picnics' it would be about food or if it were called 'magic messes' it would have tips about cleaning up but its your blog!
2.  Blogs are for having fun and or getting ideas from other blogs and sharing tips with friends so you could ask friends for some advice, you decide!
3.  Every blog has to have some excitement so in some posts have some exclamation points.  that will make your new blog exiting!
4.  In blogs you have to be very creative if you are not your members won't be impressed by your posts!
5.  People like blogs that have friendly grammar so use that in your blog like this: try and see!
6.  Everything you put on your blog has some link to your personality so be: creative, charming, friendly, and fun!  if you follow my advice that will make comments flow!

Be sure to use my advice wisely!

Sunny Day Suncatchers

All you need to make Sunny Day Suncatchers are scissors, clear contact paper, crepe paper, and a sunny day.  Cut out any shapes you want and place them on the sticky side of a clear piece of contact paper.  Make sure to cover all of the contact paper.  You can make any shapes you want.  Here are some examples.  My Mom made a sun, my brother Ephrem made a sun man, and I made a beach with a boat on water.  You can actually make anything you want.  Next, put your masterpiece on the window, and the sun will shine through it, making the colors bright and sunny.

Sock Puppets

My Mom went to a store and got a sock puppet kit for the little boys. It was really fun and the little boys enjoyed it so much that you would think it was Christmas. You can make your own sock puppet by using an unmatched sock, some pompoms, or yarn. We used our imagination and didn't follow the directions. Hope you have fun!  P.S.  Woolen socks were the best for us but any sock can really become a cute critter!

Spring is crafty!

Spring is a time to collect and find flowers, rocks, and of course, new friends. So this spring flowerpot can be for a special friend or family. All you need is a flowerpot from a craft store or garden supply store, paint, paint brushes, and water. Dip the brush into the paint and start painting whatever you want! Remember when you start a different color to clean it in the water. Have fun!

My tea set

This is another poem I wrote when I was seven years old.

My Tea Set
I have a little tea set
that gives me and my dollies some tea
Today as you can see
We have cookies on the plate and
tea in the pot.
Me and my dollies are the happiest lot.

I hope you liked my poem!

A cozy gameboard

Would you like to curl up with a nice game board with your family and friends? In this post I'm sharing my latest creation: a game board you can share with everybody! My game is called the Banana Plaza game. To make a game all you need are two pieces of construction paper glued on cardboard. Then you cut out a pathway of construction paper and number boxes within the path. Next, cut out different scenes and fun hints that make the game lots of fun. I can't wait to see all of the creations that you have made!
Loads of fun,
Avimar

P.S. If you have any leftover dice or playing pieces from other games; be sure to use them!
