Avi-Leftover cold, Pizza Clem-Hashbrowns Ephrem-Pancakes Zachery-Oatmeal Esther-Hamburger's Abel-Anything as long as it is delicious! Aren't we an easy family to cook for? We have also had Broccoli soup which is a favorite, Chicken and Dumpling's,and today Mom is making an egg omelette for brunch. There is no end of creativity in the kitchen nowadays. We are often referring the kitchen as, Napoleon Robarge Buffet, which is after our great,great,great Grandfather on our Dad's side. And whenever The meal is brought to the table, Eph will say, "Napoleon serve's the Best Food!" We're quite a family.

Probably my favorite craft book is The Best of Making Things By Ann Sayre Wiseman. The best 125 projects in the universe.All I really want to do is copy down her Permissions that you must use while looking at this book. I think they are awesome, fun, and full of wisdom that is mostly seen in a child. It's OK to try something New. It's OK to make mistakes. You will learn a lot from them. It's OK to take risks. It's OK to take your time. It's OK to find your own pace. It's OK to try it your way(first, and then other ways). It's OK to fail. You can try again free of fear. It's Ok to look foolish. It's OK to be different. It's OK to wait until you feel ready. It's OK to experiment in safety. It's OK to question the "shoulds". It's special to be you. It is necessary to make a mess which you are willing to clean up. The act of creation is often messy. I love that word, The Act Of Creation. God used the Act of Creation to create the world. We use the Act of Creation while cooking, or drawing, at work, or at play. NO matter how often you watch TV, or look bored, creation is always around you.

Dyeing is also mentioned in book. When you dye clothes, make tie-dye shirts at school, you are creating something. It is an ancient art, probaly found out by the nomads as they picked berries and found their hands a purple berry color. Natural dyes may come from your own backyard. Berries. Fruits. Flowers. Leaves. Stems. Weeds. Pods. Skins. Nuts. Roots. Animals. Fish. Insects. Stone Powders. Madder Root makes a turkey red Ripe Walnut Shells make brown(Soak for 2 days)Dahlias make warm browns. Nettles, a Yellowish-green. But I suppose you will have to see how many colors you have on hand. Crush berries and soak roots. We are all still learning!
