I'm new to the wind and the mountainous range. Not exactly new but it is so great to be somewhere warm after seemingly soggy Oregon. Me and Clem had a lot of fun playing Hobbit Monopoly with the sweet coz last night and listening to the Jersey Boys, which are awesome! And just sharing fun stories and unloading piles of do-you-remember and laughter. We are like babies to the warm wind and in the car there were numerous shouts of, "There's a palm tree! 195 miles till Sacramento! That skyscraper looks like Japan!" WE finally arrived and surprised the cousins dramatically. We'll be going swimming, I brought my roller-skates and there are cousins. What better way to spend a vacation but play around?
After telling the cousins we were leaving after Sunday Mass, we left late on Saturday, caught a Mass in Sacramento the next morning and drove from there at the exact time it was supposed to happen. The Uncle and Aunt were out shopping and so we hid in the guest room and waited excitedly. Opening the door, we all shouted surprise and then fell into tempestuous embrace. A dinner of hotdogs and grilled zucchini(Yum)we all fell down to the amazingly short crunch of being together. By crunch, I mean we got down to the business of having fun. Played zombie ball on the trampoline, looked at fantastic LEGO creations. Everything is tremendous...We are having a great time!
